I have ordered from Black Jungle a couple of times. Delivery was prompt. However, I felt the price for the plants I purchased last time were steep given what I received (e.g., rooted creeping ficus with 6 leaves)
City Floral Greenhouse
These guys are okay. They are about 5 blocks from my house and it is a nice enough place. I would prefer to frequent a green house I could visit with a staff who is more knowledgeable about terrariums; however, they are convenient for the dry goods I need.
This is the first place I ordered plants online from. The service has always been excellent (I ’ve placed a few orders), the prices are good, and the plants arrive in great shape.

Echter’s is a great place to visit. It is HUGE. They stock a large assortment of succulents, large show plants, and most importantly - plants appropriate for terrariums. Their prices are also a little on the steep side for my taste.

I bought my misting system from this company. I am happy with what I purchased. It is simple and does the job. However, I wanted to purchase new screens for my mist heads. The shipping would have been ten times the price of the screens! The screens could have been put in an envelope and mailed, but instead required a several dollar “service charge.” If you need a misting system, visit Mist King.
I could spend an entire day here. It is about a half hour from my home and well worth the drive. The staff are very knowledgeable, the prices are very reasonable, and let’s face it - it’s orchids! With the exception of my Jewel Orchid, all of my future orchid purchases will be from Fantasy Orchids.

As I previously mentioned, I purchased my misting system from Ecologic Technologies. If I had it to do over again, I would purchase from Mist King instead. I’ve spoken with the owner, who is very patient. I purchased two of the deluxe nozzles and am delighted with them. Eventually I will replace all of the nozzles in my terrarium with his deluxe nozzles. When my existing pump fails, I will also replace it with a pump from Mist King. The prices may seem a little high, but in this case you get very high quality.
Most people would say an aquarium is just an aquarium. Wrong! First, most aquariums are made using temered glass bottoms, which are unsafe to drill. Second, they are poorly made (I used to set up and maintain aquariums for an aquarium business). Oceanic Systems is a premium brand known for quality.
I believe I have only purchased moss from T&C Terrariums once. The moss arrived in square plastic take-out containers, mostly dry. The moss itself was bits and pieces. There were a few “good sized” pieces, but the rest were about 1” or 2” square at best. On the plus side, the moss is finally starting to fill in, and seems for the most part to be doing okay. It seems to die back and then come back in cycles. At some point I will probably be buying some more to fill in some holes. Although I will probably look for a different vendor.
